The second CBSE training session on “Arts Integration in Education” was held at Darshan Academy, Dasuya, and attended by teachers from several CBSE schools. The workshop was led by distinguished resource persons, Dr. Sonia Mago (Principal, Swami Sant Dass Public School, Jalandhar) and Ms. Kiran Kesar (Principal, B.B.S.B. Public School, Dhariwal, Gurdaspur). Key themes included creative pedagogy, hands-on art-based activities, and discussions on integrating music, visual art, and drama into core subjects to foster experiential, joyful learning. Participants actively engaged in group tasks and exchanged best practices in line with CBSE and NEP 2020 recommendations. The session concluded with a facilitation ceremony honoring Dr. Mago and Ms. Kesar for their leadership and valuable contributions. They were presented with mementos by the principal of Darshan Academy, Dasuya, in recognition of their expertise and their role in empowering teachers with new strategies. The event concluded with positive feedback and a collective resolve among teachers to adopt art-integrated classroom approaches in their respective schools.
