A Capacity Building Program (CBP) session on writing lesson plans, aligned with NCF 2023, NEP 2020, and the 21st-century skills approach, was recently conducted for the teachers of Darshan Academy, Dasuya. The session was led by the principal, Mr. Rasik Gupta, an experienced educationist and teacher trainer who emphasized the importance of competency-based lesson planning to enhance the teaching-learning process. During the session, teachers were guided to develop lesson plans that integrate the core competencies highlighted in NCF 2023, such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication, ensuring that pedagogical practices are student-centered and inquiry-based. The approach also incorporated the holistic vision of NEP 2020, focusing on experiential learning, formative assessment, and the development of 21st-century skills to prepare students for future challenges. Mr. Rasik emphasized the role of teachers as facilitators and innovators who adapt the curriculum to meet diverse learner needs while fostering lifelong learning habits. The CBP equipped educators with practical strategies to design interactive, relevant, and adaptable lesson plans that promote active learning and skill acquisition.
