An investiture ceremony was organized with zeal and enthusiasm at Darshan Academy, Dasuya, to encourage and kindle leadership qualities in our young prodigies. The student council for the session 2023-24 was elected, and students were chosen for houses: Compassion, Empathy, Peace and Service. The newly formed council, head boy, Jashandeep Singh, and head girl, Sakshi, were presented the school flag and badges by the principal, Mr. Rasik. House masters gave the house captains and the vice house captains badges, and prefects were given badges by the class in charges. Mr. Rasik followed by administering the oath of allegiance to the newly appointed board of students’ council, who swore to serve with utmost sincerity and to the best of their abilities. He then congratulated and addressed them to be impartial and honest in leadership and follow unity, discipline and morality. The previous year’s house competition results were also announced. Empathy House bagged the first position in academics with 281.25 points. The first position in sports and co-curricular activities was bagged by Compassion House with 20 points and 398 points, respectively. Compassion House again bagged the overall best house trophy of the school. The event concluded with the national anthem.
